Rev. Adrian Dean Smith
Rev. Adrian Dean Smith was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on October 7, 1965 to Rev. and Mrs. Joe Smith. Rev. Smith is married to Brookye L. Smith and they have been blessed with two sons, Justin and Logan.
Rev. Smith received Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at the age of twelve. God called Rev. Smith to the ministry on June 6, 1993. In response to his call, he was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1996 at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church of Alexandria, Virginia and was ordained to the Ministry in 2002 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Herndon, Virginia. Rev. Smith is passionate about preaching the gospel and helping others to develop a personal, lifelong, obedient, and love relationship with Jesus Christ.
As Assistant Pastor of First Mount Olive Baptist Church of Leesburg, Virginia, Rev. Smith aids the pastor with administrative leadership for the total church and helps in implementing the vision of the church. Under his leadership, the Christian Education of the church has expanded to include the MasterLife Discipleship Program, and several other biblical studies. The First Mount Olive Praise Team was re-established after Rev. Smith led the choir through a worship and praise study. The Mayor of the Town of Leesburg recognized Rev. Smith with a Proclamation on May 8, 2011 for his service to First Mount Olive Baptist Church. At Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Herndon, Virginia, Rev. Smith served as the Minister of Discipleship.
Servant Leader depicts not only his spiritual journey, but his life’s work. Rev. Smith served his country and his community his entire adult life. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army at the rank of sergeant in 1993 and was employed by the United States Postal Service for nineteen years. Rev. Smith also served the youth as the Assistant Wrestling Coach and Parent Volunteer at Loudoun County High School from 2010-2013. Currently, Rev. Smith is employed by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff.
Rev. Smith graduated with honors in December of 2015 from Lancaster Bible College with a B.A. in Biblical Studies.
Rev. Rickey L. Jasper
Rev. Rickey L. Jasper was born on July 28, 1963 in Parkdale, Arkansas. He is married to Shelia D. Jasper and they are the proud parents of two sons, Rickey Lane Jasper II (“RJ”) and Desmond “Tyler” Jasper.
Rev. Rickey L. Jasper serves as assistant pastor, with the primary responsibility for the Youth Ministry. He is licensed and ordained to preach the gospel. He teaches Church School on 2nd Sundays and facilitates a weekly Youth Rap Session on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. He has conducted numerous workshops and sessions on Marriage Enrichment, The Role of the Family and its Members, Goal Setting and the Church - Its Officers, Offices, and Purpose. He is former Pastor of the Protestant Faith Fellowship in Berlin, Germany and First Mount Olive Baptist Church in Lincoln, Virginia.
He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Accounting from Southern Arkansas University, a Master of Business Administration in Management from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Science in Accounting from Strayer University.
As a Government Executive, Rickey has served domestically and overseas in Latin America, Europe (Berlin, Germany) and East Asia (Singapore). During his tenure in Singapore, Rev. Jasper took graduate level seminary courses at the Singapore Bible College. He is currently seeking a Master of Divinity from the John Leland Center for Theological Studies.
