COVID-19 Vaccine - Know When you are Eligible To Receive Yours!

Vaccination Efforts in Loudoun County

Current Vaccination Phases

The Loudoun County Health Department is currently vaccinating people who meet the priority vaccination criteria in Phase 1a (PDF) or Phase 1b (PDF). Loudoun County is working with its community partners—which include pharmacies, health care systems, schools and employers—to help people in Phase 1a and 1b know from whom they will receive vaccine, how to make an appointment to receive a vaccine, and where to go to get vaccinated. Read the details in this news release (1/15/21)

Future Plans

When COVID-19 vaccine becomes more widely available to the general public, we anticipate that the Loudoun County Health Department will provide free vaccine through mass vaccination clinics. Eventually, as vaccine supplies increase, vaccine will be available through employers, health care providers and pharmacies.

Please share this information.
Have your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card laminated
It is wonderful to see that so many have received or are scheduled to receive the COVID-19 vaccinations. It is recommended that the Vaccination Record Card received at the time of the final shot be laminated to protect it. Office Depot, Office Max and Staples will laminate Covid-19 Vaccination Record Cards at no cost.
I have attached a coupon at the end of this letter for Office Depot and Office Max. Staples requires no coupon.

COVID-19 VACCINATIONS AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY:
I have just been notified that there is availability for COVID-19 vaccinations at Manassas Mall. There are 400 shots available. Appointments for vaccinations can be made by adding your name to list after which you will receive a call from iCARE to schedule a time for your shot. Please contact Deaconness Beverly Samuel at (703)737-6706 to put your name on the list. The list will be sent to iCARE at Noon on Wednesday.
I mentioned last week that there is a special ministry of caring and love within our church that provides needed transportation to and from scheduled doctor's appointments. This ministry is looking to find additional volunteer drivers. Those who are doing the driving now have not complained, but Deaconess Marie Ambers who coordinates and schedules the trips, would like to have more volunteers so that she can call on those few individuals less often. Trips are local and pre-planned and very seldom are they same day appointments. Please pause for just a moment and talk with God about it. If you are led to support this ministry and desire to know more about it, please call Deaconess Ambers at (703) 777-6313.

JOIN US FOR BIBLE STUDY AND PRAYER MEETING VIA CONFERENECE CALL

The new crisis-driven rules and guidelines have driven us to temporarily change the way we do things, but we
are still a vibrant spirit-filled church. We are not, and we will never become a dysfunctional congregation!

BIBLE STUDY AND PRAYER MEETING
After a brief disruption, our Thursday night Bible Study classes will resume. We cannot hold the large classes
in the church; and so, we will convert to Home-Study using a teleconferencing phone system.
I'm asking all members to join the class by dialing in on the telephone conference line on Thursday evening.
The present study series is based on “The Purple Book” which focuses on building strong disciples.
Although the present class is halfway through the book, each chapter/topic stands-alone; and so, new folks
can join the class at any point.
I would ask that all ministers, deacons, and deaconess plan to attend the study on Thursday.
DAY: Each Thursday Evening      TIME:7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

If you are conferencing via computer, tablet, or smartphone:

so that new attendees can prepare for Thursday's study.

We thank you so much for your donation to the homeless and needy in our community, and we pray that they will be blessed by your donation. May God continue to richly Bless You!

Mark 6:37-42 New International Version (NIV)

37 But he answered, “You give them something to eat.” They said to him, “That would take more than half a year’s wages[a]! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?”38 “How many loaves do you have?” he asked. “Go and see. When they found out, they said, “Five—and two fish.”39 Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. 40 So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties. 41 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. 42 They all ate and were satisfied,
