Rev. Charles Thompson Jr.

Reverend Charles Thompson Jr. represents the second Baptist preacher in his family. He is the oldest son of Deacon Charles and Deaconess Dorothy Thompson. He was a 1978 Bachelors of Art graduate of Houghton College. He majored in Bible and furthered his studies at Central Michigan receiving his Masters of Art in Business Management. He was licensed and ordained in 1978.

Reverend Thompson joined the Air Force after graduating from college planting two churches during his ministry and service as a missionary overseas. His passion and eagerness to serve and minister to the broken-hearted led him to Regent University where he graduated with his MA in Human Services Counseling in 2012.

He is the proud father of three children and one grandson. His favorite scripture and life verse is Isaiah 6:8 - Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me.”
